Holy Grail Skincare Routine

Okay, “holy grail” may seem a little extreme to people who don’t have very many skin problems. But since about 15 I had breakouts allllll the time, I had to cover them up with makeup daily and I had the WORST habit of picking them because I just wanted them off of my face (sometimes still do, it’s a work in progress) lol. I feel like I have tried every dang skincare product that anyone tells me works for them or I see on tv. Proactive, topical acne products from the drugstore, accutane for like a month, medicine from the dermatologist, every salicylic acid wash from the store I could find….I could honestly go on and on and on. I probably have spent well over $5,000 on products since I started getting bad breakouts. Nothing ever really worked. I mean, for awhile the breakouts went away but a few months later they were back in full force. Not only that, but my skin is SO sensitive that so many product I used just irritated my skin or dried it out so bad I wanted to cry because it hurt to smile. Now, my acne was super super bad like other people. It didn’t completely take over my face and some people probably didn’t even notice is as much as I did. But I was obsessed with getting rid of all the breakouts. So, I was on Instagram earlier in June and a blogger I follow had posted about this super amazing skincare mask that she uses (@lindseyreganthorne). She seriously RAVED about it and I was so interested. I immediately clicked the link or page she had put for it and it linked to a skincare spa in North Carolina, Toska European Spa. At first I wasn’t so sure because I have learned to become skeptic when people say products work because most times they just don’t. For two weeks I stalked their Instagram page for the spa, stalked their website, etc. I researched all about the products they carried and I was ready to buy everything they had. So, I started with emailing them for an online consultation that is SUPER easy to fill out and waited for them to give me their recommended treatment. I had several items they gave me to try, however they are priced really high (so worth it though once you use), so I asked what 3 things they absolutely thought would help that I should start off with. They told me about a toner, a serum, and a moisturizer. So, that is what I bought. I got them early July and I have used the products for a month now and my skin is SO different. Acne scars from picking when I was younger are much lighter, my breakouts rarely ever occur and if I see them coming, I put the serum I bought on it and within like two days it’s not even there, nor did it ever really become a pimple. My skin is SO much softer and my makeup when I do wear it goes on so smoothly. I am just literally in love with these products. This is the first product I feel has worked the way everyone said it should and the people who work at Toska European Spa are so helpful when it comes to finding the right products for you!! If you have a hard time with your skin and your tried of spending so much money on things that don’t even work…splurge on these products by Biologique Recherche and they WILL work. Now, here is my daily skincare routine.

Morning & Night Routine

Wash face with Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser ($34)

Apply Lotion P50 PIGM 400 with a cotton pad all over face (don’t rub) ($31-116, depending on size)

Apply Sérum Complexe Iribiol as spot treatment where I normally break out or see a breakout coming ($43-92, depending on size but this stuff lasts forever if you use as a spot treatment)

Apply Crème Placenta all over face and neck ($65)

It’s really that simple. And they have cleansers and masks that you can add to your routine, which I plan to do later on. But with just these 3 products, my skin has not looked or felt better. If you decide to try it, let me know how it works for you or if you have any questions about what I use/have tried, etc. And let them know I recommended you so they take good care of you like they did me!!
